COPPA Parent Notice
Zegbot is designed for children and complies with COPPA principles. Parents are always in control of how AI features are used.
Section 1 — What COPPA Means for Zegbot
Zegbot is a screen-free AI companion designed for children aged 3–10.
We follow COPPA-aligned principles to ensure that parents remain in control of all data and AI interactions.
Parents are responsible for:
- Activating AI features
- Managing device setup through the Parent App
- Controlling privacy settings and usage
- Reviewing or deleting voice history
Section 2 — Parent-Controlled AI
Zegbot AI is parent-enabled only.
This means:
- AI conversation is not active by default
- Parents must verify and enable AI in the app
- AI can be turned off at any time
- Children cannot independently change AI settings
Section 3 — Data Collection & Usage
Zegbot is built with privacy-first design:
- No camera is included on the device
- No ads are shown to children
- No open web browsing is available
- Voice data is used only to provide AI interaction and device functionality
- Parents can delete voice history at any time in the Parent App
Section 4 — Parental Rights
Parents can at any time:
- Review child interaction history (if enabled in app features)
- Delete stored voice data
- Disable AI functionality completely
- Manage device and app permissions
